I am a fourth-generation resident of Summit, and this community has been my home my entire life. Growing up here, I learned the values of hard work, honesty, and service from my family, teachers, coaches, and pastors. I saw firsthand the importance of people coming together to support one another, which is why I stepped up as soon as I could. In high school, I began serving as a volunteer on Summit’s First Aid Squad, dedicating 12 years to helping my neighbors, and later became the youngest President of the Summit Council. During that time we built a brand new firehouse, funded every request from the police department, and coordinated a strong response to the pandemic. We also worked to lower taxes, invest in education, and improve infrastructure.

My parents worked hard to give our family the opportunity to thrive in Summit. My father works for Guardian Life, and my mother is the secretary at Jefferson Elementary School—the same school my sister, mom, grandfather, and I all attended. Some of my favorite memories growing up were family trips to the Jersey Shore, complete with homemade playlists featuring plenty of Bruce. But I know that if my family were starting out today, the path would be much harder. I was the first in my family to graduate from college, where I met the love of my life, Megan, who now works for the Community Food Bank of New Jersey.

I’m running for Congress because I see how rising costs and extremism in Washington have put the American dream out of reach for too many families. Owning a home in this district, building a future here—these should be attainable goals, not distant aspirations. Our country and our democracy are at a turning point, and we need leaders who are fighting for something bigger than themselves. I will work to protect what makes our communities great—good jobs, vibrant neighborhoods, and affordability for working families. And I won’t hesitate to stand up to Donald Trump, my own party, or anyone who threatens the people of this district. I will fight to lower costs and taxes, defend our fundamental freedoms, and invest in healthcare, education, and transportation to build a better future for all of us.
